Prince Sultan Aviation Academy & L3Harris Converge on Future Installation for Ground Handline Training Simulators to Improve Airside Crew Safety

Prince Sultan Aviation Academy (PSAA) and L3Harris invite media to attend intend their memorandum of understanding agreement signing which outlines the steps to move forward with the installation and evaluations of the AIRSIDESIM™ Ground Handling Training Simulators at their facility. PSAA is the first aviation company in the region to install this type of technology that can enhance training and improve crew safety for ground support equipment. The signing agreement will be held at the Dubai Airshow on November 15 at 12:30pm in Saudi Arabian Airlines Group Pavilion.

The AIRSIDESIM is a mixed reality training technology system that simulates operation of ground support equipment including pushback tractors and baggage loaders in addition to simulations for baggage, fuel and water trucks. It provides real-time simulation of the airport environment to specifically train ground support drivers on specific driving equipment. This solution enhances competency, driving skills, policies, and procedures to meet international regulations, while proactively reinforcing positive, and better decision making.

Agents can learn novice to advanced skills needed to be safe, efficient, and prepared on the ramp. Experienced agents can demonstrate and hone their abilities in periodic refresher training. Unlike conventional training, simulators let you repeat training scenarios as often as required saving you time and money.
